About the book: A refugee camp, somewhere on the outskirts of Europe. Two characters, a European and a Syrian, tell about this place from different perspectives. They are seeking rescue for themselves there, each in their own way. Around them resound the anonymous voices of the excluded, the inhabitants and even politicians. Times, languages and conventions mix. “Azyl” is a search for a form capable of naming the disintegration of our world.
