Performance, Presentation & Liming
We collaborated with Michelle Eistrup, a Danish-Jamaican artist, on her Lumbung project for Documenta Fifteen. She organised an event with 13 guests from 4 different continents, representing deep knowledge, ecological awareness and indigenous heritage.
Documenta Fifteen went beyond an Eurocentric point of view, so we were challenged to go beyond our favourite Swiss approach to design. It was an inspiring adventure to be in dialogue with a non-Western aesthetics. During the process, we discussed concepts for the visual representation of variated scopes of knowledge, creativity, and heritage of persons from different parts of the world.
