Visual language and architecture of information
Digital Collections website for French Institute of Pondicherry, Institut de l’information scientifique et technique (INIST) and French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). We had an opportunity to design a visual identity and a website for one of the most fascinating archives we have ever visited, which is partly listed as Unesco heritage (the amazing palm manuscript archive—manuscripts set in Grantha script—a classical South Indian Brahmic script). We have advised regarding structure of information and designed a new visual language.
The portal features archival collections made in collaboration with British Library, University of California—Los Angeles, École Française D’extrême-Orient and ETH Zürich.
